I've worked as a sign language interpreter and adjunct instructor since 2012. Over the years, I saw how technology was supposed to make freelance work easier—but for many independent contractors, it only made things more fragmented.

Between agency portals, different pay structures, invoices, scheduling systems, and endless email threads, managing work became its own job. As I balanced interpreting, private practice, family life, and serious health challenges, I realized I needed one place to organize assignments, clients, income, invoices, and reminders.

So, I built it.

Growing up in the Deaf community, I was raised with a deeply collective mindset—we survive and thrive by supporting each other. Because of that, I knew I couldn't just keep this to myself. What started as a personal solution became the foundation for TenFlow.

As I shared it—remembering my roots in the tattoo industry—it became incredibly clear that this problem wasn't unique to interpreters. Freelancers across the board, from artists to stylists to consultants, were facing the exact same overload.

TenFlow was created to simplify the business side of independent work.

Less platform switching. Less scattered communication. Less administrative clutter. More clarity, organization, and support for the way contractors actually work.
